Position Overview Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the Department of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of USC seek to recruit an accomplished physician leader to serve as Chief of the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Co-Director of CHLA's Behavioral Health Institute (BHI), and the Las Madrinas Endowed Chair in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. The Chief will oversee the division's clinical care, research, education programs, service missions, strategic planning, faculty recruitment, program development, faculty and fellow mentoring, and budgetary affairs. Responsibilities Lead the clinical services of the Division Direct the research agenda and secure grant funding Develop and oversee educational programs for faculty and fellows Manage strategic planning and budgeting for the Division Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and fellows Collaborate with BHI leadership across the Psychiatry, Psychology, and Social Work divisions Coordinate with community agencies, early intervention providers, and school systems to deliver coordinated developmental, behavioral, and educational support Qualifications MD, MD/PhD, or comparable degree Board-certified in developmental-behavioral pediatrics and general pediatrics Significant experience in clinical care, education, and research within pediatrics or behavioral health Demonstrated leadership experience in a pediatric or behavioral health setting Ability to manage faculty, fellows, and budgets Proven collaborative approach with community partners and interdisciplinary teams Benefits and Support Annual base salary range $309,500–$333,784 Academic appointment at Keck SOM at Associate Professor or Professor level Institutional resources, staff, infrastructure, and endowments to support clinical, research, and educational activities Commitment to a vibrant and culturally diverse faculty community CHLA and USC are equal-opportunity, affirmative-action employers committed to building a vibrant and culturally diverse community of faculty that best reflects the patients and families we serve. #J-18808-Ljbffr University of Southern California
