Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1820 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with insulin gtts.

Preferred Credentials: - Critical Care Course preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric ortho, neuro, and telemetry patients. - 1:5 to 1:6 patient ratio, especially on nights there will be more of a 1:6. - Wound vacs, PICC lines, and central lines. - BiPAP, CPAP, high flow, and nasal cannulas. - Cardizem, heparin, and insulin drips; typically non-titratable drips on the Med/Surg/Tele unit. - 1-2 support staff per shift depending on census and availability; phlebotomy available for lab draws. - Nurses are required to read/verify telemetry strips once a shift in Epic. - Chest tubes, hemodynamic monitoring, transvenous/temporary pacing, conscious sedation, and advanced respiratory modalities.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holiday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
