Registered Nurse, RN

Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. No weekends or holidays. 40 hours per week. The Registered Nurse ensures the health and safety needs of all residents are met and that the facility complies with current regulations and standards of practice. Essential Job Responsibilities Complete initial assessment of potential residents and implement service agreements upon move‑in. Monitor and maintain each resident’s medical record, ensure timely assessments and appropriate documentation, and confirm current care plans. Ensure all physician orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours. Maintain and monitor the medication administration program; supervise medication practices and medical equipment; follow up with physicians regarding medications and medical conditions. Assist supervisor in providing health and medication training to all new team members and in ongoing education for all staff, documenting such training to assure compliance. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state and required to maintain licensure. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility, including but not limited to Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to Know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, and Fair Housing laws and regulations.
