As a Security Guard Train Station in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Bring your New York State Security Guard License and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transit facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, entrances, concourses, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with directing visitors and passengers, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
