About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations for our growing law office. This is a part-time, in-office position. The Accountant will oversee bookkeeping, and financial reporting to keep our firm running smoothly.

What You'll Do

Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Process client billing, track trust account transactions, and prepare invoices
Coordinate payroll and benefits with external providers
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for management
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Assist with budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure compliance with firm policies
Maintain compliance with accounting, tax, and trust account regulations applicable to law firms
Recommend process improvements for financial efficiency

What We're Looking For

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting/bookkeeping; law firm or professional services experience preferred
Skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software; understanding of payroll, benefits, and trust account rules; strong organizational and communication skills
Mindset: Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to manage multiple priorities in a small-office environment
