Academic Coach

Treasure Coast Girls Coalition (TCGC) is looking for passionate Academic Coaches who believe learning should be engaging, affirming, and rooted in real-world experiences. TCGC serves girls ages 9–18 through after-school and summer STEAM enrichment programs in Title I communities across the Treasure Coast. We focus on building academic confidence, emotional intelligence, and pathways to future careers — especially for girls who deserve access, opportunity, and support. What You’ll Do Facilitate engaging academic and enrichment sessions (small groups) Support students using project-based, culturally responsive instruction Create a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment Track student progress and share updates with families and staff Collaborate with a small, mission-driven team of educators and mentors Support student growth academically, socially, and emotionally Who You Are You enjoy working with youth and believe relationships matter in learning You’re flexible, creative, and student-centered You communicate clearly and manage groups with confidence and care You’re aligned with equity-driven, community-based education Details After-school and summer hours Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Why TCGC?
