PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Hattiesburg, MS .
We currently have Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available , with weekday and weekend day shifts. Choose the available shifts that work best with your schedule while providing meaningful, one-on-one pediatric care in the comfort of the patient's home.
POSITION DETAILS
Location: Hattiesburg, MS
Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN
Shifts Available: Weekdays & Weekends
Scheduling: Flexible self-scheduling – choose the available shifts YOU want to work
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
Monday–Friday:
11:30 AM–7:30 PM
Saturday–Sunday:
10:00 AM–3:00 PM
ABOUT THE CASE
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 1-year-old pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.
Clinical needs include:
Feeding and nutritional support
Medication administration
Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring
Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and age-appropriate care
The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift , allowing for focused assessment, intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care
Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition
Provide feeding support and monitor intake as ordered
Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions
Assist with age-appropriate activities of daily living and care
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team
Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs
REQUIREMENTS
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi
Current BLS certification
Current TB screening within the past 12 months
Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Pediatric, private duty, or infant/toddler nursing experience is a plus
