Merit Health Wesley is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Daytime Hospitalist Physician (MD or DO) to join our collaborative inpatient team. • Work-Life Balance: Preferred 7-on / 7-off block schedule featuring 12-hour daytime shifts only .

• Competitive Rate: $160 / hour base compensation.

• Employment Status: Hospital-employed role with comprehensive system support.

• Practice Environment: Open ICU setting with strong physician collaboration and a full complement of specialists.

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive inpatient care for acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Manage daily patient census, admissions, and discharges with timely documentation.

• Procedure Coverage: Hospital-based procedures (Central lines, Intubations, Codes/Emergency response) are preferred, but NOT strictly required .

• Collaborate seamlessly with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary clinical teams.

• Education & Certification: MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM).

• Licensure: Active Mississippi medical license (or eligible to obtain).

• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills suited for a fast-paced inpatient setting.
