Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Blacksburg, VA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Interviews may be virtual. Start late June/early July. Direct access to referring physicians, Monday through Friday, support staff available, and Epic electronic medical record in use.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain state license prior to start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient clinical experience required. No new graduates.
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to work with direct access referrals and collaborate with referring physicians.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseloads.
• Proficiency in documentation and productivity expectations in an outpatient setting.

Assignment Details

• Start timeframe: late June/early July.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, direct access to referring physicians, support staff provided.
• Electronic medical record: Epic.
• Interviews may be conducted virtually.
