Psychiatric Mental Health Therapist - Davenport, IA | Behavioral Health Specialist

• Hours/Week: Varies
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• License/Certifications: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling; Iowa licensure in Social Work/Counseling required; LMHC or LISW preferred
• Experience: Prior experience in mental health, working with individuals, families, and groups preferred

• Pay Rate: $42/hr for local candidates within 50 miles; $55/hr for traveling candidates outside 50 miles
• Salary Range: approximately $64,000 to $68,500 annually
• Additional Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application; other benefits to be provided upon hiring

• Conduct intake and evaluation services as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and benefits
• Participate in special projects or focus groups (e.g., family therapy, assertive training)
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of all services delivered
• Support clients’ safety and trauma-informed care in diverse settings, including client homes and community agencies
• Be available for on-call duties as scheduled by team leadership
• Travel within a 50-mile radius to serve clients in various locations

Required:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
• Valid Iowa licensure in Social Work or Counseling
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to travel up to 50 miles
• Acceptable criminal and abuse background checks

Preferred:

• LMHC or LISW licensure in Iowa
• Experience with electronic health records
• Strong public relations, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in dynamic, sometimes stressful environments
