Your Mission

As Project Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of custodial and grounds maintenance contracts across Las Cruces, Anthony, ABQ and Eastern NM. You'll ensure services are delivered with excellence-on time, on budget, and in full compliance with contract requirements and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Development

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff to build high-performing, motivated teams
• Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and teamwork
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback

Operations & Contract Management

• Oversee custodial and grounds services including mowing, landscaping, and facility maintenance
• Manage schedules, staffing plans, and service delivery to meet contract expectations
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and track expenditures

Client & Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and community partners
• Lead weekly client meetings to ensure satisfaction and address needs proactively
• Support recruitment efforts through local partnerships

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence to OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain high standards of safety, service quality, and operational efficiency
• Step in to perform operational tasks when needed to ensure coverage

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years managing custodial/grounds operations (including budgeting and scheduling)
• 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

Certifications & Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (travel required across the region)
• Ability to pass required background checks, including:
  • General background screening
  • OIG/CMMS exclusions check
  • Driving record (MVR)
  • Federal security clearance processes
  • NM Department of Health fingerprinting
