$1548.12/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op Unit to deliver comprehensive preoperative care. This role involves assessing patients, preparing them for surgery, and ensuring optimal clinical outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess patient health status and identify risks prior to procedures. Prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery by providing education and support. Administer medications and monitor vital signs as required. Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care plans. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards. Qualifications: Min 2 years of recent experience in a Pre-Op or similar clinical setting. Hold current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications. Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills. Possess an active Registered Nurse license. Ability to work varied shifts and holidays, including major holidays. Maintain flexibility to fulfill requirements for holiday scheduling.
