The internship is specifically designed for veterans, transitioning servicemembers, and military spouses new to the corporate sector. Compensation & Working Hours Hourly wage: US$30 per hour. Position is a 40‑hour work week. Responsibilities Support Federal Compliance and Federal Sales Teams within the Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence (GDI) organization. Collaborate with the GDI Performance Management team to keep documentation, processes, and policies up to date and adopted. Support federal compliance initiatives and design and develop processes and documentation for CMMC and related efforts. Maintain business relationships with stakeholders on information security requirements. Assist with additional GDI Performance Management initiatives on an ad‑hoc basis. Collaborate with other Oracle One Federal teams. Required Skills & Experience Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security. Knowledge of NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171, CMMC, DFARS (desired but not required). Strong understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols. Fundamental knowledge of security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti‑virus software, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering. Ability to communicate security issues to peers, management, customers, and end‑users. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure. U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance if needed. Desired Skills & Experience Knowledge of standards and requirements for application security. Experience in risk, information security, and environmental management projects. Strong multitasker with keen attention to detail. Organized and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications U.S. based or U.S. client‑facing role requires compliance with immunization/occupational health mandates and/or drug testing. Range and benefit information provided are specific to the stated locations. US salary range: $19.09 to $36.35 per hour; $39,700 to $75,600 per year.
