We are in search of Board-Certified CRNAs for a long-term locum tenens position in New Mexico. This role presents a fantastic chance for healthcare providers looking for a sustained assignment that offers a varied case mix, an independent practice setting, and a reliable schedule.

Position Details

• Ongoing locum assignment
• Immediate start available
• Inpatient and outpatient environments
• Scheduled clinical hours along with on-call duties
• Weekend coverage is necessary
• Multiple positions available

Clinical Responsibilities

Providers will engage in a wide array of anesthesia services, which include:

• General anesthesia
• Regional anesthesia and nerve blocks
• Spinal and epidural anesthesia
• Obstetrical cases
• Adult and pediatric cases
• Ventilation management
• Hemodynamic management
• Placement of central and arterial lines

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess experience in:

• Regional blocks
• Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia
• Pediatric dentistry anesthesia (preferred but not mandatory)

Required Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Board Certified
• At least one year of post-training experience
• Active New Mexico license or the ability to reactivate an existing license
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Comfortable with independent practice
• Ability to provide documentation of regional anesthesia experience

Additional Information

• Participation in call duties is required
• Temporary privileges can be arranged
• Comprehensive malpractice coverage is included
• Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days
