Immediate Opportunity with Emergency Privileges

We are seeking a dedicated professional for a long-term position that may transition to permanent employment. We are open to considering candidates for both locum tenens and long-term to permanent roles.

Position Overview

• Specialty: General Surgery
• Location: MountainView Regional Medical Center, 4311 E Lohman Ave, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88011
• Hospital Size: 250 beds
• Trauma Level: Level 3

Availability

We are flexible with provider availability and are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

Shift and Call Information

• Preference for assignments of at least one week or longer
• 24-hour call coverage with an average of 0-4 phone consultations, 0-4 in-person visits, and 0-5 admissions
• Full-time commitment (weekly/monthly schedule to be confirmed)

Credentialing Process

Emergency privileges can be obtained swiftly, typically within two days, based on previous experiences with other specialties.

Job Responsibilities

• Setting: Inpatient
• Department Capacity: 32 beds
• Patient Volume: 7-10 patients
• Required Procedures: Various surgical procedures as needed
• Support Staff: 4 RNs available for assistance
• EMR System: Medhost

Client Requirements

• Providers must reside more than 90 miles from the facility
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and take call is essential

Travel Accommodations

Travel arrangements will include hotel accommodations, mileage reimbursement, and flights, all in accordance with our travel policy.

Compensation
