Legal Assistant

LHH is seeking a Probate Legal Assistant for a reputable law firm in Tampa, FL. This position is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience supporting attorneys in probate and estate administration matters. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced legal environment and possess strong communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys with probate and estate administration matters
• Prepare and file probate-related legal documents and court filings
• Maintain and organize client and case files
• Coordinate calendars, deadlines, hearings, and appointments
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
• Assist with gathering financial and estate-related documentation
• Draft correspondence and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior legal assistant experience required
• Probate or Trusts & Estates experience strongly preferred
• Experience with court filings and legal document preparation
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software systems
