Interventional Radiology Technologist

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in Aurora, CO. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate and maintain imaging equipment, and ensure quality assurance of film processing and patient monitoring. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to support complex IR and neuro procedures in a hospital setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current Interventional Radiology technologist experience required. Recent IR experience must be documented with references.
• VI preferred. ARRT (R) is accepted.
• BLS certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license required for practice in Colorado.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Ability to perform procedures such as drains, tumor ablation, spine/ortho cases, and neuro-related interventions preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro experience and prior thrombectomy center experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced hospital IR suite with 1:1 to 3:1 patient ratios preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700 - 1730.
• On-call responsibilities include approximately 10 - 12 shifts per month.
• Work primarily in an IR service with two IR suites and interdisciplinary teams including IR techs and RNs.
• Must be able to float to other facilities if required.
