Mainframe Engineering Lead with infrastructure or systems engineering experience

Job Description

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
6-10 years of relevant infrastructure or systems engineering experience
10+ years of diverse IT experience preferred; financial services experience is a plus
Strong experience in mainframe infrastructure, system programming, or mainframe application development
Direct hands-on mainframe experience is required
Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem?solving capabilities

Technical Skills (Preferred)

z/OS, PARMLIB, UNIX System Services, HCD
SMP/E and maintenance routines
JCL, IPL processes, ISPF/TSO
Installation and support of IBM operating systems and ISV software
ITSM / ITIL practices including Release and Change Management

Experience building and sustaining enterprise mainframe platforms .
