RN – OR Circulator (Contract)

• Location: California 95422

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Pay: $2,239 – $2,500 per week

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

• Shift: Day Shift, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (subject to change)

• Call: Required

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative nursing care as an OR circulator

• Coordinate surgical procedures and maintain sterile environment

• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficiency

• Document care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Job Requirements

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice (Required)

  • BLS (AHA, ARC, or RQI) (Typically Required)

• Experience:

  • Prior operating room/circulator experience preferred

Key Duties

• Prepare and manage operating room for surgical procedures

• Monitor patient status and support surgical team intraoperatively

• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols

• Assist with coordination of surgical services and workflow

Department Overview

• Covers all operating room services and intraoperative care

• May include inpatient/outpatient OR support functions and perfusion services

• Excludes PACU, anesthesia, pre-op holding, and central sterile

• Must meet vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
