Job Description:
Detroit IT is looking for Service Desk Assistant/IT Assistant to assist their Service Desk team.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Service Desk with packaging and shipping of IT equipment to clients.
Assist the Service Desk team with data entry of client information
Organize and maintain and up to date inventory of IT equipment.
Assist team in picking-up and delivering items to clients or for internal use when necessary.
Report daily work accomplished orally or via email to CTO.
Requirements
Proven experience as an office assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative role
Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems
Thorough understanding of office management procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
