Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse with robust clinical knowledge in scrubbing and circulating for all types of cardiovascular operational procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exemplary patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment, while potentially floating to general OR and other facilities as needed.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 4x10-Hour shift (06:45 AM - 05:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for all types of cardiovascular surgical cases.
• Assist in patient preparation and monitoring during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective surgical care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and uphold infection control practices.
• Participate in on-call duties as required (1-2 days per week, 1 weekend per month).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• PA Registered Nurse license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Level I Trauma experience is mandatory.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner (Surginet) charting system is required.
