ASCP Certified Medical Technologist - Full Time

MLR is looking for a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will carry out a variety of laboratory tests and procedures that are essential for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your duties will include analyzing samples, interpreting results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring precise documentation.

Responsibilities for a Medical Technologist:

Conduct laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Analyze test results and report findings accurately.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret data and provide clinical correlation.

Requirements for a Medical Technologist:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) ( preferred , but not required).
NYS License.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
