Administrative Assistant

SearchLogic Recruiting LLC

Immediate need for an Administrative Assistant to join successful CPA firm located in the Galleria (close to intersection of 75 and 285 as well as Truist Field). Work in beautiful A+ office space in a comfortable low stress environment with a small group of professionals. Benefits are highly competitive! Because this is a small firm, this person handles a wide range of responsibilities

  • Because we are a small firm, this person handles a wide range of responsibilities
  • First and foremost, Director of First Impressions
  • Handles incoming calls and greets visitors to our office
  • Should get to know every client and know how to meet their needs when they call
  • "Processing" of tax returns and financial statements
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx, UPS and couriers
  • Managing the file room
  • Managing office supplies
  • Managing our data base of contacts
  • Assisting with newsletters
  • Scheduling/coordinating use of conference rooms
  • Preparation of basic tax forms like power of attorney forms, extensions and estimated tax payment vouchers
  • Preparation of basic correspondence like engagement letters
  • Setting up and maintaining client files
  • Assist office manager with maintenance of computer network and office equipment
  • Scanning to pdf documents provided by clients in physical form
  • The opportunity, to the extent desired, to cross train and learn the job of the office manager (which includes all of the above plus our internal accounting, HR, computer network, vendor relations, etc.)

Qualifications:

Prefer completed Bachelors Degree but flexible
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong communication skills and positive attitude
