Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Nights - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) is responsible for assessing patients' clinical conditions, recognizing and interpreting serious situations, prioritizing, and making immediate clinical decisions. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment and may float to Medical/Surgical (MS) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) units as needed. The schedule includes working every other weekend and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' clinical conditions and initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations.
• Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment.
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician, including medications and IV therapy.
• Document observations, nursing interventions, and coordinated activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.
• Plan and develop care delivery, implementing plans, and coordinating the documentation of care.
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Room.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (mandatory).
• Ventilator experience is necessary.
• Strong ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
