RN - Registered Nurse - School Nurse- Southern Orange County

Ro Health is currently hiring qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our staff and work in public schools all around Orange County!

Position Details:

• Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
• Locations available include: Orange County (Northern and Southern regions)
• Positions Available: Full-time (30+hrs), Part Time (<30hrs), Per Diem
• Shift: May vary, approximately school hours, anywhere between 7:00am-4:00pm.
• Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends
• Target Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities may include:

• Working in a health office with patients that have one or more of the following (G-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic, seizures)
• Distributing medication to students with a med pass
• Provide client care according to the approved Plan of Care
• Assist in providing a safe environment for the client
• Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
• Assist with lifting, transporting, diapering as needed
• Assist with ADLs
• Providing coverage during bussing

Requirements:

• Active, California nursing license
• 1 Year of RN (Trach/Ventilator Experience) Required
• Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!

*Training Provided*:

• Seizure disorder education
• Diastat administration
• Insulin injections and pumps
• Diabetic Management
• Medication Administration
• G-tube feedings
• Tracheostomy Care
