We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform comprehensive dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining optimal oral health for patients of all ages. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive patient experience. Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix is preferred, along with knowledge of pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices.

Pay

$55~$65 per hour

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification

Job Description

Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining proper infection control standards
Review and update medical records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Monitor patient comfort and provide chairside assisting during various dental treatments
Ensure aseptic technique is maintained throughout all procedures
Support infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care
