Distribution Facility ManagerThis is a leadership position. You are depended on by the organization to help meet operation goals by ensuring the products consumers want are available when they are ready to make a purchase. Lead and motivate a multi-faceted, diverse team and responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Distribution Facility. Plan and coordinate work; monitor and evaluate the performance of warehouse associates and supervisors; and manage all aspects of training and development of warehouse associates and supervisors. Manages 1-3 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 5-35 employees in the Warehouse Operations, and Administration. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises 2-5 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Exhibits leadership responsibilities. Responsible for the successful implementation of all short and long range goals for the Distribution Center assigned. Specifically pertaining to goals regarding; finance, operations, sales and human resources.Essential Functions Statement(s)Guide team members in daily operations to ensure a high degree of safety, service, and operational excellence.Provides warehouse safety leadership and is responsible for improved safety performance in the facility.Create an environment that supports creativity and innovation.Promote a strong sense of teamwork and a culture of respect by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.The DM must analyst trends, solve problems, motivate and develop associated in order to maximize contribution to the Distribution Facility success.Consistently promote a strong corporate culture, quality, and high performance work teams.Manages the Profit & Loss.Plans, budgets, forecasts and expenses control.Maximizes operations and profit growth while properly managing company assets.Hires, teach, coach and retain the highest level of quality personnel.Support employees by providing good working conditions, equitable pay programs and on-going career development.
