Job Description: We are seeking MSN, Ph.D., or DNP prepared nurses to instruct in our programs. Qualifications differ based on the program of study.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Online lectures, course facilitation, skills training, and oversight of clinical practicum within local healthcare facilities. Canvas LMS experience, preferred. Adjunct is responsible for assuring regulatory compliance with accreditation, state, and federal guidelines. Follow the curriculum aimed at assisting students pass the national certification examination. Travel may be required to assess a clinical placement site. On campus intensive participation may be required. Based on curriculum level, didactic engagement, facilitation of discussion boards, quality improvement projects and experiential oversight within different clinical and healthcare organizations required. Requirements: Required: MSN, Ph.D. and or DNP prepared nurses holding an unencumbered current Rhode Island Nursing License. Experiential learning placements are nationwide and may require licensure within a compact state as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse licensure. Minimum of two years' full-time employment in advanced level nursing or its equivalent within the past five years, and evidence of experiential competence in area of didactic and/ or experiential coursework. Qualified applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work independently and in teams.
