About the Role Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Assistant Human Resources Manager will support the effective planning, implementation and administration of all Human Resources functions within the hotel. The successful candidate will help foster a positive colleague experience while ensuring compliance with labour legislation, company policies and Hyatt standards. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures and labour law compliance. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on HR-related matters. Support employee relations activities, including disciplinary and grievance processes. Coordinate recruitment, interviews, onboarding and orientation for new colleagues. Assist with performance management processes, development plans and performance improvement initiatives. Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave records and employee benefits administration. Support colleague engagement, recognition and wellbeing initiatives. Prepare HR reports and provide workforce data to support operational decision-making. Support the Human Resources Manager with strategic HR initiatives and other assigned responsibilities. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field. Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid practising licence. Minimum five (5) Human Resources experience. Strong knowledge of Zambian labour legislation and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Preferred Previous hospitality industry experience.
