Job Overview A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate with 1 to 6 years of experience to join the mortgage finance group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage origination, warehouse financing, securitization, and related transactions involving commercial and residential mortgage loans. Opportunities to work from other US offices are available. Duties Support the mortgage finance group with legal expertise. Engage in transactions related to mortgage origination and securitization. Collaborate on warehouse financing projects. Assist in handling commercial and residential mortgage loans. Requirements 1 to 6 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in mortgage finance transactions. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications: Licensed to practice law in the United States. Skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and negotiation abilities; proficiency in handling complex legal transactions.
