Work Environment\n The position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enhancing the ability to deliver care while accommodating personal and professional responsibilities. Operating within a supportive team dynamic, you will collaborate with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals who share a commitment to excellence in trauma care. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to respond to patient needs effectively. Key Responsibilities\n \n * Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma history and unique needs of each patient. \n * Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and holistic well-being. \n * Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), for therapeutic sessions. \n * Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that equip patients with skills and strategies for processing their trauma and fostering healing. \n * Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care that addresses all facets of an individual's health. \n * Provide timely crisis intervention and essential support during trauma-related emergencies, applying your expertise to stabilize patients. \n * Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, helping them understand coping mechanisms and available resources for support. \n * Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards. \n * Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities geared towards remaining aligned with trauma-informed care best practices. \n * Commit to continuous learning, staying current with research and advancements in trauma therapy modalities. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma and are actively seeking therapeutic support to navigate their recovery journey. This includes clients suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders who benefit from a specialized and nuanced approach to treatment. Qualifications\n \n * A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n * Current and valid licensure in Arizona as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is mandatory. \n * A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care practices. \n * Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential. \n * Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interaction are crucial. \n * Ability to remain calm and composed under high-stress situations. \n * Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications is required. \n * Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting. \n Preferred Experience\n \n * Two years of professional experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies. \n * Familiarity with integrated care models, particularly in settings that involve collaboration among mental health and medical professionals. \n * Active engagement with continued professional development in trauma-informed practice areas. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
