Mechanical Design Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer - Butte, Montana Responsibilities: Take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion. Generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and support the development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare design specifications, analyses, and make recommendations for presentation to management for approval. Lead mechanical design for a broad range of prototype, pre-commercial and new commercial products in an advanced product development environment, emphasizing quality for demanding industrial manufacturing businesses. Track record of solid technical leadership with preference for experience designing products for manufacture. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, preferred (ABET accredited). 6+ years of experience in mechanical design. Experience with SolidWorks. Finite Element Analysis expertise. ANSYS experience required. Must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work.
