Sterlingtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ-10933It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing!# **Maintenance Technician II**## We are seeking a **Maintenance Technician II** to perform and coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of facilities and grounds. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on maintenance experience, and a commitment to safety and quality.## ## Key Responsibilities* Troubleshoot and complete facility repairs and maintenance.* Perform basic electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, painting, assembly, and general repair work.* Complete scheduled preventive maintenance.* Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.* Coordinate repairs with vendors and outside contractors.* Obtain vendor bids and assist with purchasing materials and supplies.* Communicate maintenance issues and safety concerns to management.* Support facility projects and work with management on schedules and priorities.* Assist with snow removal, debris cleanup, and other weather-related maintenance.* Provide guidance to vendors and assist with training new maintenance and custodial employees.* Participate in safety initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.## Qualifications* High school diploma or GED required.* **3–5 years of industrial electrical experience required.*** Experience with general facility maintenance and preventive maintenance.* Ability to read instructions and complete basic written documentation.* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.* Valid driver's license required.## `**Benefits Include:*** **Comprehensive health coverage** with medical, dental, and vision plan options; benefits are available starting on the first day of full-time employment for employees working at least 30 hours per week.* **401(k) with company matc*** **Generous paid time off**, including 14 federal paid holidays, 1 floating holiday,* **Employer-paid financial protection benefits**, including basic life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage.* **Tuition reimbursement*** **Additional voluntary benefits** including flexible spending accounts, employee stock purchase opportunities, pet wellness and insurance plans, identity theft protection, and legal services.Come Be Part Of A Mission that Matters!From inside the farm gate to our dinner plates, Neogen protects the world’s food supply.
