What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient general cardiology care, including rounding with APP team
• Conduct consultations and follow-up appointments for adult patients
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests (treadmill, nuclear, echo)
• Manage common cardiology conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and valve diseases
• Support inpatient services with a typical volume of 7-22 patients per day
• Support supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during inpatient rounds
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weeknights and weekends, with some echocardiogram reading responsibilities

What You Need

• Board Certified in Cardiology, with a fellowship in General Cardiology (Cardiac Imaging preferred)
• Wisconsin Medical License (or eligible for licensure)
• Current DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in general/non-invasive cardiology, inpatient rounding, and ECHO/EKG interpretation
• Ability to supervise APPs during inpatient care
