About this role: Terravanta is seeking experienced Project Controls professionals to support complex energy and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in project management, project controls, and /or construction management with experience in electric utility performing activities in budgeting, forecasting, cost controls and reporting. Responsibilities: Budgeting and Forecasting Support with budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Controls, performing financial analysis and reporting. Develop and maintain project budgets, cost baselines, forecasts, and expenditure plans for major and multi-year projects and programs. Aggregate, reconcile, and update budgets, forecasts, and spending plans across multiple funding sources, jurisdictional allocations, asset types, and cost drivers. Monitor project performance and identify budget variances and cost trends. Stay up to date on project controls innovations, industry standards, and participate in industry forums as expert in the industry. Cost Controls & Financial Analysis Perform detailed cost control analysis, including: Budget vs. Actual analysis Commitments and accruals tracking Contingency management Earned Value Management (EVM) Cost-per-unit analysis Cost impact assessments Conduct research, data collection, validation, and analysis to support project financial health and performance. Reporting & Industry Knowledge Prepare and present reports, dashboards, recommendations, and alternatives that support project and business decision-making. Develop cost forecasts and provide insights to manage project costs, schedules, and risks. Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for project and portfolio performance. Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices, and innovations to support continuous improvement and project excellence. Requirements A combination of education, training, and experience, generally equivalent to those typically possessed by a 4-year college graduate Finance, Accounting, or Mathematical background Minimum 7 years of experience in Cost Controls, Cost Management, or Project Controls. Experience using Microsoft software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) and SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Solutions application.
