Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
• Experience working with K–12 students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Strong behavior management skills, including developing and implementing individualized strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with related service providers, families, and staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and adapt instruction based on students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and behavior plans
• Foster a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate regularly and constructively with families, support staff, and administrators
• Participate in IEP and team meetings, contributing insight and recommendations
