Operations Supervisor

Liberty Waste Solutions is seeking a motivated leader with a passion for operational efficiency and team management. We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to oversee our waste collection, disposal, and recycling operations. This role is critical in ensuring we have the right people and equipment to meet customer needs while maintaining compliance, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards Supervise and coordinate waste collection, disposal, and recycling teams (drivers, helpers) Monitor route efficiency and optimize resource allocation Analyze operational performance and implement improvements with the team Train and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team that meets customer expectations Handle and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner Maintain accurate documentation, including route sheets and driver inspection logs Lead regular safety meetings and training sessions Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma required; relevant logistics or operations experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is a plus Prior supervisory experience, preferably in the waste or logistics industry Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of waste management practices and regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to work under pressure and make real-time decisions Strong communication skills with a team-oriented approach Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform hands-on tasks as needed Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Safety equipment provided Vision insurance Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
