Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends (4 shifts per schedule) | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 32+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, medics, and PCTs across shift coverage
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Anticipate patient and department needs while maintaining a team-oriented approach

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas
• TNCC required – must have by start date
• ENPC required – must have by start date
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Greater than 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to anticipate patient and departmental needs
