Veterinary Assistant / Technician

Overview Brookhaven Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our compassionate, client-centered general practice. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy hands-on patient care , excel in surgical and anesthetic support , and have experience with veterinary dentistry , including dental prophylaxis and dental radiography. This position is not entry level . To be successful, candidates should bring prior clinical experience in a small animal practice and be confident supporting anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures. You will work closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure safe anesthesia, effective dental care, and positive patient outcomes. Engage in a strong mix of technical skill utilization, teamwork, and opportunities to continue developing advanced clinical competencies. Qualifications Prior clinical experience in a small animal practice (not entry level). Experience with anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures.
