Position Summary The Sales Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support to the Vice President of Sales, Senior Director of Sales, and the broader sales team. This role supports daily sales operations by managing the Javits Center customer relationship management system (CRM), assisting with essential tasks, and reporting for the sales department. The sales coordinator also assists with customer engagement functions, and initiatives, ensuring efficient communication and seamless collaboration across teams at the Javits Center. The compensation range for this position is $28.21 - $30.77 hourly, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience. Interested candidates must be willing to work onsite at the Javits Center. Essential Functions Maintain and organize customer data and essential account information within the Javits Center customer relationship management system, Momentous. Perform daily data entry tasks to ensure accurate lead tracking, calendar bookings, contact records, and sales activities. Assist with the preparation of sales reports. Assist with creating sales proposals and marketing materials. Compose business correspondence and prepare presentations. Sales site tour coordination, including distribution of site tour event memos and liaising with pertinent departments. Support sales contracting duties and complete additional assignments as needed. Cross-train on other essential department functions to include licensing, billing, and document tracking via Docusign. Required Qualifications College degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Prior administrative support experience, (executive-level support strongly preferred). Trade show or hospitality experience is a plus. Prior experience using customer relationship management software. Must have strong database experience and analytical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with trackers and reporting dashboards. Ability to interact with clients, officers, and peers in a professional manner. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Flexibility and skill to handle multiple tasks and unexpected work while still meeting deadlines. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently with a minimum level of supervision. Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently verbally and in writing.
