POSITION TITLE: Caregiver – Assisted Living (Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN)

REPORTS TO: Nurse / AMAP on Duty or Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:
Woodland Hills Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team. This role provides hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.

COMPENSATION AND BONUSES:

• Base Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Attendance Bonus: $100 for perfect attendance over two consecutive pay periods 
• Shift Pickup Bonus: $100 for picking up extra shifts after 40 hours worked 
• Employee Referral Bonus: $500 after 90 days 
• Resident Referral Bonus: Up to $600 
• Capacity Bonus: Additional pay when facility is at full occupancy 

SCHEDULE OPTIONS:

• Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available 
• Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, nights, weekends) 
• PRN staff must maintain consistent availability 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility) 
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs 
• Monitor and report changes in condition to nurse or supervisor 
• Document care and observations accurately 
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining support 
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment 
• Follow infection control and safety protocols 
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
• Caregiving or healthcare experience preferred (not required) 
• CPR/First Aid preferred (training available) 
• Must be dependable and able to work independently 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand/walk most of shift 
• Lift/transfer up to 50–80 lbs 
• Bend, stoop, and assist residents as needed
