Floating Leasing Agent

The role of the Floating Leasing Agent is to assist Property Manager and/or the Assistant Property Manager in all aspects and areas of the property with day-to-day functions including marketing, leasing, application processing, resident relations, and adhering to the EMG Employee Manual A “floating” position requires that you work at different property locations from day to day and week to week and that you are able to work in diverse environments sometimes with little instruction. This position is based in Park City and the 2 main properties will be located in Park City. There may be times when floating to Salt Lake City is necessary. Responsibilities Support daily property operations and assist in supervising on-site staff. Deliver professional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and Fair Housing compliance. Lease apartments, conduct tours, process applications, and complete resident move-in documentation. Perform applicant screening, explain lease agreements, and communicate approval or denial decisions. Collect rents, process deposits, and assist in achieving occupancy and budget goals. Address resident concerns, enforce lease terms, and coordinate maintenance and vendor services. Maintain accurate records and ensure Yardi/AppFolio is updated, including work orders and purchase orders. Monitor property appearance, vacant units, and overall curb appeal. Assist with move-out inspections, deposit accounting, delinquency management, and rent increases. Complete required reporting, compliance, training, and educational requirements. Support resident retention efforts, community events, outreach marketing, and local housing partnerships. Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the community. Qualifications Must have reliable transportation to be able to float to various properties. Mainly Downtown Salt Lake but other Salt Lake & Ogden properties are a possibility. Mileage is paid when travelling for work related purposes. This position is well suited for someone who is highly adaptable, can travel to different locations daily, has excellent communication skills and is a self starter.
