Hospital Pharmacist Inpatient Setting York, PA

We are actively seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time hospital assignment in York, Pennsylvania. Assignment Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks or longer
Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts
Setting: Large 500-bed acute care hospital
Pharmacy Systems: EPIC and Pyxis
Full-time hours available

Responsibilities:

Perform medication order verification for inpatient populations
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff on medication therapy decisions
Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring services
Ensure medication safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
Participate in clinical pharmacy services and patient care initiatives

Required Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
Experience working with Pyxis automated dispensing systems
Strong clinical judgment and pharmacokinetics experience
Ability to work variable shifts including days and afternoons
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
