ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop PCB designs based on customer input and industry standards (VITA, PICMG).
• Design custom high-speed backplanes (VME/64X, VXS, VPX, cPCI, ATCA) with DFM principles.
• Prepare backplane schematics, check plots, and Gerber files while ensuring compliance with ISO processes.
• Interface with customers, PCB fabrication shops, and manufacturing/testing personnel.
• Participate in design reviews and troubleshoot engineering challenges.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong understanding of electronics and signal integrity principles.
• Proficiency in P-CAD and Altium Designer for PCB design.
• Extensive experience in backplane/PCB and circuit design.
• Familiarity with VITA and PICMG standards.
• Ability to review emerging technologies and educate internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently & collaboratively.
• BSEE degree with 7+ years of experience in backplane design.
• Work in a cutting-edge environment designing high-performance backplanes. Collaborate with a team of experts in PCB and electronic design. Be part of a company that values innovation, precision, and quality.
