Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process within a 30-bed Telemetry unit
• Provide specialized care for cardiac patients, incorporating educational requirements and competencies related to telemetry monitoring
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 while ensuring safe and effective care delivery
• Float as needed to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry or Step-Down experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry-specific patient populations
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
