Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2080 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 9 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Missouri Health Care and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Missouri Health Care.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Required Skills/Experience:- Heparin drip management.

Preferred Skills/Experience:- Prefer 2 years, but willing to consider 1.5 years of M/S experience for quality candidates.- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:- Must be able to work throughout the full term of the contractual engagement.- RTO not granted for holidays, but they will work with the traveler on which holidays to work to meet the 50% holiday requirement.

Unit Details:- Surgical Specialties is a Med/Surg unit focused on trauma and general surgery.- Extensive dressing changes and chest tube placement.- Patient population includes ages 12 y/o to adult.- Cares for patients with MVC, falls from standing or height, GSW, penetrating trauma, burns, gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, bowel obstruction, bowel resection, and TBI.

Shift&Scheduling:- Call required.- Ability to work assigned weekends.- Work 50% of holidays that fall within the contract.

Floating Requirements:- Float to adult MS Cluster.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years
