Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer - Brake Systems
Location: Wyoming, MN
Onsite preferred, Hybrid/REMOTE considered Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in brake system or component design to support the development, validation, and release of brake components for off-road vehicle applications. This role involves component design, engineering analysis, product validation, manufacturing support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, durable products.

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in brake system or component design to support the development, validation, and release of brake components for off-road vehicle applications. This role involves component design, engineering analysis, product validation, manufacturing support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, durable products.
Required / Mandatory Skills:
- Mechanical design engineering experience with subsystem or component design
- Experience designing brake components or brake systems
- Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling tools
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience with FMEA and dimensional tolerance stack-up analysis
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required
- Experience using 3D CAD software (preferred experience with a leading parametric CAD platform)
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and component development
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems preferred
- Understanding of fit and finish principles
- Demonstrated ability to work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and supplier teams
