MRI Technologist - Baylor - Up to $13,500 Sign-On Bonus

MRI Technologist

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at our Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN! This is a.9 Baylor (work for 48 hours per 2 weeks, paid for 72) position that will work every Saturday and Sunday from 7AM - 7:30PM. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.

The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient care
• Performs examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Ensures patient safety and emergency preparedness
• Verify patient identification and documentation
• Communicate and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of the procedure
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
• Ensures patient data integrity
• Accurately completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
• Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Tech ARRT Registration or registry eligible with successful completion within 90 Days
• Meet MRI Safety Screen requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a technologist
• MRI certification or successful completion within 1-1/2 Yrs
