Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our CV PreOp unit. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a skilled interdepartmental team.

Responsibilities

• Perform large-bore IV starts and assist with arterial and central line placements.
• Conduct skin assessments and hair removal from chin to toe.
• Administer medications and assist with patient transport to the OR.
• Support induction and intubation procedures, including positioning and skin prep.
• Document patient care accurately in the Cerner documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical care experience is required; PreOp experience is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity patient area.
