Title
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
Shift: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Varied Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
Every other Weekend, Every other Holiday

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- AS in nursing required, BS in nursing preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license
- ACLS upon hire OR must hold an active BLS card and obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire
- AHA PALS within six (6) months of hire
- 3-5 years ED experience preferred
- TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with standards.
- Provide patient and family education based on identified needs and readiness to learn.
- Collaborate on discharge planning incorporating necessary support systems.
- Document all pertinent data and therapeutic interventions timely and accurately.
- Administer medications and IV therapy safely and according to protocols.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and interventions.
